Hi! I'm a British-Canadian researcher and marketing strategist based between Berlin and London.

Currently: I am a graduate student in Digital Media at Goldsmiths, University of London. My research focuses on the digital ruins of Web 1.0, examining in particular early personal websites and online communities. I am also the head of curation at Pexels (part of Canva), one of the largest libraries of free photography and videos on the web.

Previously: I have a bachelor's degree in Philosophy with minors in English and German from the University of Toronto, and have also studied German at the Freie Universität Berlin. Parallel to my writing and academic work I have over seven years of experience in digital marketing, primarily for companies providing services to creative workers. My current focus is visual strategy, branding, and trend forecasting. Additional areas of expertise include: content creation, management, and strategy; social media management; ad and product copywriting; community management.

And: My writing on art and culture has appeared in Crack Magazine, FASHION Magazine, MUBI Notebook, Point of View Magazine, and Vice, among other places.
