Hi! I'm a British-Canadian researcher, writer, and curator based in Berlin.
Currently: I recently completed my MA in Digital Media at Goldsmiths, University of London, focusing on the digital ruins and resurrections of Web 1.0, in particular early personal websites and online communities. I am also the head of curation at Pexels (part of Canva), one of the largest free photo and video libraries on the web.
Previously: I have a bachelor's degree in Philosophy with minors in English and German from the University of Toronto, and have also studied German at the Freie Universität Berlin. Parallel to my writing and academic work I have more than eight years of experience working in digital media, primarily for tech companies providing services to creative workers. My current focus is visual strategy, curation, and creative direction.
And: My writing on art and culture has appeared in Crack Magazine, FASHION Magazine, MUBI Notebook, Point of View Magazine, and Vice, among other places.
